Another site in the Kansas City area has been added to the rapidly expanding Texas fast-food chain, which is currently opening one restaurant per week on average in the United States.
The address is 204 S.W. Missouri 150 Highway in Lee’s Summit. After being postponed from Monday due to an equipment problem, it finally opened at 11 a.m. on Thursday.

A 24-hour drive-thru and dining room are both available at this location, and customers can use the Whataburger app to arrange for delivery or curbside pickup.
In 2021, Whataburger debuted its inaugural outlet in the Kansas City region. Patrick Mahomes, quarterback for the Chiefs, is a partner in KMO Burger LLC, which operates many of these locations. According to KMO, 30 Whataburgers will be opening in the area.
