Covington Central Riverfront work to affect roads, sidewalks at Third and Madison over next seven weeks

Over the course of the next seven weeks, pedestrians and automobiles around Madison Avenue and Third Street will be impacted intermittently by the installation of electric conduit for the Covington Central Riverfront development.

Six separate phases will be used to complete the work, which started on Monday and is expected to conclude the first week of April.

There will occasionally be fewer or no car lanes on Madison and/or Third, as well as sidewalk access for pedestrians.

However, the work’s pace is susceptible to alter due to weather and other reasons.

Please be mindful of the frequently updated construction signage and detours.

The 23-acre Covington Central Riverfront property, located north of Fourth and west of Madison, is being prepared for the construction of a new mixed-use community. Details are available on the CCR website.
