LOGAN Numerous East egg hunt activities are planned in Hocking County, starting on Friday, March 31 at 10 p.m. at the Hocking County Fairground with the United Way nighttime egg search.
The cost of the event is $15 per person, and it is appropriate for adults and teens.
The UW Executive Director, Mike Barrell, estimates that some 4,000 eggs, each containing candy and other surprises, will be dispersed throughout the Fairgrounds. In order to locate the eggs, players will search the area with flashlights after turning off the lights on the premises. To gather the eggs, participants are urged to bring their own bags and flashlights.
Some of the eggs, which will include tickets to win prizes and a very special $250 Golden Egg buried someplace on the Fairgrounds, will be packed with candy.
Bill Hoag Drywall is the event’s sponsor.
The hunt will start at 10 p.m. after the gates open at 9 p.m. Tickets are available at Hocking Hills Frozen Yogurt either in advance or on the night of the event.
For further information or to become a sponsor, give Mike Barrell a call at 740-603-1856.
