The Charles H. Dater Foundation has awarded a $35,000 grant to the Baker Hunt Art and Cultural Center.
Nonprofits in the Greater Cincinnati area that improve the lives of children via social services, education, healthcare, and the arts and culture are eligible to receive grants from the Dater Foundation.
By giving local schools access to art education and creative chances, Baker Hunt will use the funds to bring art instruction off campus and improve the lives of young people in the neighborhood.
Although this specific funding will be used for children’s enrichment, Baker Hunt also offers scholarships to families who want to attend classes on the Baker Hunt campus and educational outreach to the VA Medical Center, adult day care centers, and senior centers.
