Fulop super PAC now has $11 million banked

After raising more than $1.5 million at a Jersey City fundraiser Friday night, a super PAC affiliated with Democratic gubernatorial candidate Steve Fulop now has $11 million in cash on hand.

Over the past three years, Coalition for Progress has grown to this point, and we are incredibly grateful to our supporters for helping to give the funding required to support progressive candidates in whom we all have a strong belief. said the chairman of the Coalition for Progress PAC, Drew Nussbaum. We are eager to spread the word about candidates that have a proven track record of advancing the interests of the middle class and challenging the political establishment to accomplish their goals.

Coalition for Progress is getting ready to invest a lot of money in supporting progressive candidates in the June primary, according to Nussbaum.

To support down-ballot candidates he has enlisted to run on his slogan, Fulop has promised to spend $10 million.

In 2023, the super PAC declared that four nationally renowned Democratic consulting firms had joined. These include Impact Research, the polling company run by John Anzalone, who has polled for Joe Biden and Barack Obama and has a wealth of experience in New Jersey elections, and Red Horse Strategies, which assisted in directing Eric Adams’ 2021 mayoral campaign and independent expenditures for Democratic candidates in over 30 states.

Siegel Strategies, a media agency, and Precision Strategies, a digital media firm that worked for Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign as well as statewide and congressional candidates across the United States, are also on the Coalition for Progress consultant list.
