Lavallette mayor, councilmembers endorse Ciattarelli

On Thursday, Jack Ciattarelli received the support of five council members and the mayor of Lavallette Borough to run for governor.

Council President Anita Zalom, along with Council Members James Borowski, Joanne Filippone, David Finter, and Michael Stogdill, joined Lavallette Mayor Walter LaCicero in endorsing the former assemblyman.

Jack has always supported us. According to a statement from LaCicero, “He fought with us to protect our shore and understands the needs of our residents.” We need a Republican governor in Trenton who will cooperate with us to lower taxes, support our law enforcement, provide better services to our seniors, and maintain community safety. For that position, Jack Ciattarelli is the ideal candidate!

Of the 33 municipalities in Ocean County, Lavallette has the 23rd-highest population. On June 10, the gubernatorial primary will take place.

The council members stated that Jack’s leadership of our party is more crucial than ever in light of the radical group of Democrats vying for governor this year. Jack has demonstrated his ability to bring Republicans together and challenge the Democrats. We’re excited to battle for victory with him in November.
