Jean Roehrenbeck, a former chief of staff to Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-Montclair), was appointed vice president of Summit Strategies, a national government affairs business.
Most recently, Roehrenbeck served as the U.S. Department of Transportation’s acting assistant secretary.
In a press statement, Summit Partner Terry Heubert stated, “I’ve known and worked with Jean for more than 15 years.” There isn’t a better complement to the company. She is a highly knowledgeable professional who is fiercely committed to her cause and possesses the highest level of honesty.
Roehrenbeck worked as the legislative director for Representative Mike Doyle (D-Pennsylvania) and the communications director for Representative Steve Rothman (D-Fair Lawn) from 2007 to 2009 before to joining Sherrill’s office in 2019. She also had a prominent position with National Grid, one of the biggest gas and electricity distributors in the world, for four years.
According to a release from Summit Partner Mark Dedrick, Jean adds a new degree of energy policy knowledge to Summit and strengthens our existing strong defense and transportation practices. Because of her close ties to the Northeast, she also contributes regional diversity. She is a welcome addition to the firm.
