Mike Hogan, a seasoned philanthropist and fundraiser, has been appointed as Meals on Wheels’ chief advancement officer. Hogan brings 20 years of demonstrated nonprofit stewardship and community engagement expertise to the role.
Along with Chief Executive Officer Mike Dunn, Chief Operations Officer Connie Baker, Chief Production Officer Michael Beck, Chief People Officer Matthew Melody, and Chief Financial Officer Robin Rodgers, Hogan started his new position with the Meals on Wheels executive leadership team this month.
Hogan attended Northern Kentucky University and is a Cincinnati native. He spent 18 years in higher education fundraising, mostly for the University of Cincinnati, where he oversaw development initiatives in the Colleges of Law, Engineering and Applied Science, Business, and DAAP. He started his career in nonprofit administration in 2002. He had a number of roles in the university’s just concluded Next, Now campaign and its first $1 billion Proudly Cincinnati campaign. At the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C., Mike most recently oversaw engagement and fundraising initiatives.
I’m excited to combine my humanitarian interests with the needs of our community when I return home to Cincinnati, Hogan stated. Without the commitment of our community members and the daily philanthropic impact they make, Meals on Wheels would not be able to offer its 10,000+ customers with crucial services and encourage independence. We’re all working together to deliver much more than just a meal.
Hogan oversees a development and marketing staff of five individuals, all of whom have been with the company since July 2024. Director of Marketing & Communications Natalie Koking, Development Manager Justin Beale, Development Assistant Hannah Broermann, Events & Partnership Manager Betsy Adams, and Grant Writer Julia Muntel are among the team members.
Hogan, his wife Lori, and their children Abby and Kelsey reside in Cincinnati.
