According to authorities, a person was found dead at a Second Ward bus stop in Houston early on Monday morning as a result of the chilly weather.
The individual was discovered close to Canal Street at a bus stop located at 6700 N. Cesar Chavez. At 7:29 a.m., authorities verified the deceased.
According to Metropolitan Transit Authority spokeswoman Lester Gretsch, the event is still being investigated and no other information could be verified at this time.
