According to officials, a guy who shot and wounded an outside agency officer in southwest Houston on Wednesday afternoon is being sought by police.
Police had been looking for the man since about 11:40 a.m. and had established a perimeter around the scene in the 610 South Loop and the 9300 block of Stella Link Road.
The cop was allegedly shot by an unidentified individual who then ran away.
They are taking the police to a local hospital.
Police department representatives were not immediately available for comment. According to a social media post, more details regarding the hospital shooting are anticipated from the police department.
