HP Hood LLC recalled “five SKUs of 96 oz containers of LACTAID Milk” on Saturday (September 20) due to allergic sensitivities associated with a possibly undisclosed contaminant.
According to the United States Food & Drug Administration, the aforementioned products “may contain trace amounts of almond,” an ingredient that was not listed on their labels. While no illnesses have been reported, individuals who are allergic to almonds run the risk of a “serious or life-threatening allergic reaction”.
Consumers can identify the recalled products by searching for code: 51-4109 P2 and the list of Best By Dates featured on fda.gov.
Products of concern were sold in 27 different states (shipped from September 9th to September 18th) including retailers and wholesalers located across Texas.

Consumers who previously purchased a recalled 96 oz container of LACTAID Milk are able to return the product where they purchased it for a full refund.
