A 23-year-old male from Bothell was taken into custody in Snohomish County on Monday on suspicion of sexually assaulting a minor.
The man was indicted on two counts of second-degree molestation and first-degree burglary, as reported by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO).
A sheriff’s office spokesperson stated that the man and the youngster are not acquainted and that the investigation is ongoing.
That terrible crime took place in Bothell last Friday.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) received a report from a family detailing how an unidentified guy sexually abused an 11-year-old after breaking into their residence.
In a press release issued on Friday, SCSO noted, “This appears to be a random incident.”
This child’s gender has not been released by the police at this time.

Nearby residents were asked by the sheriff’s office to check their security footage for any suspicious activity from Thursday, September 5, to Friday, September 6, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
