$50,000 Grant to Qualified Parties
By the deadline of April 15, millions of Americans are anticipated to file their income tax returns for 2023. Millions more anticipate receiving greater money in their tax refunds. In the meantime, citizens of South Dakota, North Dakota, and Minnesota will be eligible to win a $50,000 grant.
According to a U.S. Sun report, the donation comes from the $7.9 million Collective Abundance Fund. Applications will be accepted beginning on March 1st, according to the Native American rights organization NDN Collective, which announced the initiative.
NDN Issued a Declaration
“Families can use the money to establish long-term stability, as a healing tool for sustaining lifeways and livelihood, and as a way to build on the abundance of our culture, knowledge, and the assets around us,” stated Gaby Strong, managing director of NDN.
Additionally, Indigenous people living in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Boriken/Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Territories—American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, and the Virgin Islands—are the target audience for this $50,000 grant.
