San Antonio reports—
A 12-year-old Northside Independent School District pupil has been arrested, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
The BCSO stated in a press release issued on Tuesday that the kid’s detention was a result of a threat directed at another student. The student in question is a student at Luna Middle School in West Bexar County; on Saturday, during a FaceTime contact, authorities allege he threatened to shoot another student.
Sheriff Javier Salazar emphasized the importance of parents communicating with their children about the terrible repercussions of making threats. “When necessary, the BCSO will make arrests after conducting thorough investigations into these cases.”

The teenager allegedly threatened to “shoot up the school” and exhibited images of firearms, according to investigators.
News of the threats quickly spread, leading to the student’s suspension from school and the prompt notification of BCSO. After that, an arrest warrant was issued, and the pupil was apprehended at a residence.
Investigating that residence yielded results. Two imposter pistols, ammunition, an extended magazine, two types of plate carriers, and a 380 caliber handgun comprise the set.
Bexar County Juvenile Detention Center officials took the juvenile into custody after charging him with felony terroristic threats.
