Following Federal Indictments, Kansas Men Were Charged With Narcotics Trafficking Offenses

KCTV in WICHITA, Kansas report: As a result of separate federal indictments, two men from Kansas have been charged with crimes linked to the trafficking of methamphetamine and fentanyl in the state of Kansas.

A federal grand jury in Wichita, Kansas, has indicted Horace R. Wright, 40, of Pittsburg, in connection with drug trafficking and firearms charges, according to an announcement made by the United States District Attorney’s Office for the District of Kansas on Wednesday, February 21.

Wright was charged with one count of possession of meth with the intent to distribute, one count of possession of fentanyl with the intent to distribute, and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a narcotics trafficking felony, according to the records that were filed with the court.

In addition, the District Attorney’s Office said on Wednesday that Raul Delgado-Sanchez, 32, a resident of Wichita, was indicted in connection with his own allegations of narcotics trafficking.

According to the documents, Delgado-Sanchez was charged with one crime of distribution of methamphetamine, one count of possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, and one count of unauthorized possession of a handgun.

No additional court appearances have been planned for either of the cases at this time.
